Napoli for Quincy (?)

Following the interest shown in the morning from Inter Milan for Stefanos Kapino, another player of Panathinaikos is said to be targeted by an Italian team.

The reason Owusu Quincy, who,  according to those derived from the Italian press release Saturday, is under the supervision of Napoli.
The issue arose from the website "Calcionews24", while reference was made today and in the local press of the city with the information of a proposal for two million euro "partenopei" in Al Sad, in which the player belongs.

"The administration wants to offer another solution to Walter Matsari viewing the difficulty to follow ina the league and in Europe," stated.

Totti: "I want to play with Mourinho '

Since the beginning
of his career Francesco Totti plays for Roma and he is a"living legend" for the fans.

Panathinaikos: Will he keep up with the expectations?

Big question was and remains this year for Panathinaikos if he can go on in the post-Cisse season and
Many thought that the team would be difficult to adapt to a different way of playing but the coach of the team ,Jesoualdo Ferreira, believes that "green" will be much better than previous years.

August Cuff ...

The positive performances in friendly preparation and novel the summer preparations showed that the necessary additions to the "clover" will claim to equal the qualification to the Champions League qualifiers. Opponent, the Danish Odense and the draw made the smiles of the fans more intense after a promising 1-1 away, at the end of July, thanks to a goal by Leto.
But those who chose to go to the Olympic Stadium from a beach to get to see their favorite team, did not believe what they were seeing, watching the Danes achieving four goals (3-4) and  conquer the qualification although found to lose by 2 - 1
.

In Tel
Aviv the bitterness was huge

Sixteen days later, the "Clover" had a chance in the Europa League, but again the picture was just disappointing. The ''greens'' lost 3-0 from  Maccabi Tel Aviv and Ferreira's players were collapsing in the second half (and while the result was 0-0).

The hope of the Olympic Stadium, went out with the first victory of the best Greek ambassador in Europe, Panathinaikos to a 2-1 win but not enough and Panathinaikos said goodbye too early this year
.

Great premiere
in Kerkura, gained a lot in Peristeri

Now, everyone were invited to regroup within three days and begin the race for this year's title battle, with most of the fans touting that Olympiacos is the first and favorite to win the championship this year.

The "green" in the premiere ,in the traditionally difficult headquarters of Kerkura ,passed with victory thanks to goals from Leto and Ninis. And  September  left with a home win with PAS Giannina and a draw with Peristeriwith a goal from Leto, and while players were showing great mental, Ferreira stocks struggled from the 3 ', with ten players (due to elimination of Karnezis).

There the Portuguesecoach saved a valuable point but he earned something very important for the outcome of the association. Stefanos Kapino after Kotsolis was injured and Karnezis was eliminated took teir spot under the ''green'' goalposts.

Wins that can give him the title in Xanthi and Touba.

With the talented 17 year old goalkeeper looking good beneath the goalposts and Sebastian Leto having a free role and score at will, Panathinaikos went through two great teams and its very likely that he will be the champion this year. The Well of Xanthi and the "hot" Touba, winning with 3-2 Xanthi and 3-1 Paok.

Intermediate
the "green" had achieved another great victory against Ergotelis, defeating them in the Olympic Stadium to 4-0 in front of the audience, and everyone thinks that Panathinaikos has changed him image for good.

Moreover, the very Zesoualdo Ferreira after the exclusion in Europe had taken the responsibility and pointed out that besides the fact that the players had "keys" to match them (after the eleventh hour and transcribed by Quincy and Toche) the team had worked as he would like. And so the evidence ... came later.

Defeated AEK and went undefeated in Karaiskaki.

The November came in the best conditions for "clover" because after the match with the "two-headed North", was invited home to meet AEK. Win by 3-2 and  everyone had theirs minds in Karaiskaki.

Everybody
waited to see Panathinaikos with a week gap (due to the Greek national team)to have lost  its positive aura in the game with the "eternal" rival. However, the "green" came to courage in Faliro stage and preceded by Zeka and Kapino "to download the rolls" (as the Greek say :meaning not letting the rival to score) by maintaining undefeated  getting a draw against Olympiacos in Piraeus.

The month
ended with another victory over OFI but the "green"showed signs of fatigue and detuning in the game.

Betrayed in "K. Vikelides" recovered in ''N.Smirni''.

December  didn't come very good forPanathinaikos who went to "Cleanthes Vikelides" without the mental strength he needed and was defeated 3-1, although initially tied at 1-1. The defensive gaps appeared and the were crucial for the team.

Now everyone should show another picture in another difficult office, New Smyrni and without the ill Ferreira. And thanks to Leto and Katsouranis the "green" left the "Square" with a more valuable win in the league.

Last match for the championship with Asteras in Tripoli with the Portuguese coach of the "green" to be in a booth to guard, and the players to conquer yet another victory 3-1.

The year 2011 ended with the first positive test of several theoretical alternate who got a ticket for "16" of the Greek Cup, defeating the "poor" 1-0 in his field Evosmos the Agrotikos Asteras.

Fulham 0 - 5 Man Utd

Manchester United shrugged off injuries to Phil Jones and Ashley Young to thrash a lifeless Fulham side.
Danny Welbeck's close-range finish was added to by a header from Nani and a deflected Ryan Giggs effort in a first half United completely dominated.
Wayne Rooney smashed in from 30 yards before Dimitar Berbatov's audacious backheeled finish late on.
The win sees United stay in second place in the Premier League, two points behind leaders Manchester City.
Jones required extensive treatment after catching a stray Clint Dempsey elbow to the face in the opening minutes.
Referee Mark Halsey did not give a foul for the challenge but Dempsey was lucky to escape a card after striking Jones with his left elbow.
After a lengthy stoppage Jones continued as United took an early lead.
Nani collected the ball on the halfway line, drifted past Bryan Ruiz, and carried the ball unchallenged 50 yards down the left before picking out Welbeck for a crisp finish from seven yards.
Jones was called into action to deny Ruiz with a fine tackle before succumbing to his injury.
Young came on for United, with Antonio Valencia switching to right-back, before more slack defending from the home side allowed Nani to head the second.
Fulham switched off as Giggs took a quick corner to Valencia. He played it back to Giggs, whose cross was headed in by Nani with the lurking Rooney unable to add a touch.
United killed the game off just before half-time through veteran Giggs.
Again the visitors were afforded far too much time and space as Nani ambled into penalty area before teeing up the 38-year-old Welshman. Giggs's shot took a huge deflection off Philippe Senderos and looped over the head of goalkeeper David Stockdale.
Substitute Young was then forced off after the break with what looked like a knee injury after a challenge from Dickson Etuhu, as Fulham made some belated improvement.
Dempsey saw a header saved by Anders Lindegaard, Moussa Dembele shot wide and John Arne Riise smashed a free-kick past the post.
Andrew Johnson then twice should have done better for Fulham before United hit two late goals.Rooney - making his 300th Premier League appearance - advanced from midfield and drilled a fine shot in off the far post, before substitute Berbatov provided a touch of class in stoppage time with his 50th goal for the club.
Valencia exchanged passes with Nani before breaking into the penalty area and squaring for Berbatov.
The ball was behind the Bulgarian but he was able to backheel the ball past Stockdale into the corner

Barcelona's ''beat down'' against L'Hospitalet 9-0 in Copa del Rey.

Barcelona powered into the last 16 of the Copa del Rey with an emphatic 9-0 victory over minnows L'Hospitalet.
Star man Lionel Messi did not feature but coach Pep Guardiola selected a strong side against a team from the third tier of Spanish football.
Xavi, Andres Iniesta and Cesc Fabregas all started, and Barca raced into a 5-0 advantage at half-time.
The 10-0 aggregate win came only four days after Barca's 4-0 victory over Santos in the Club World Cup in Japan.
With four top-flight teams - Atletico Madrid, Villarreal, Real Betis and Zaragoza - having gone out of the Spanish domestic competition at the fourth-round stage, Guardiola took no chances after his side were only one goal up from the first leg last month.
Aside from Messi, only Victor Valdes, Eric Abidal and Dani Alves from the regular starting line-up were rested.
The nine-goal rout at the Nou Camp did not come without cost, however, as Iniesta injured his right thigh and will be sidelined for two weeks, while Fabregas also appeared to be hurt in the second half.
But speedy young winger Isaac Cuenca seized his opportunity to impress, scoring twice and winning two penalties - including Pedro Rodriguez's 11th-minute opener.
Thiago Alcantara (2), substitute Cristian Tello (2), Iniesta and Xavi were also on the scoresheet.
The Catalan giants, who have won the competition 25 times, will play Osasuna in the next round, with rivals Real Madrid facing big-spending Malaga.
If Barcelona and Real Madrid were to both make progress to the quarter-finals they would meet each other in a two-legged tie on 18 and 25 January.
"To be champion you have to beat all the teams, whether they are from lower divisions or the best," said Real Madrid director of football Miguel Pardeza.
"We are not thinking about [a meeting with Barcelona] yet and are focused on the Malaga tie."
