Adelino Vierinha to VfL Wolfsburg !

Adelino Vierinha has succesfully been transfered to the German club of VfL Wolfsburg!In the beggining of the transfer season this trasfer was just a rumor but now its official!

FC PAOK announced the assignment of Adelino André Vieirinha German VfL Wolfsburg.

VfL Wolfsburg have strengthened their squad with the signing of Portuguese attacker Vierinha from Europa League participants PAOK Thessaloniki. The 25 year old (January 24^th, 1986), whose full name is Adelino André Vieira de Freitas, signed a three and a half year deal with VfL Wolfsburg on Tuesday, binding him to the club until June 30^th 2015. The player subsequently flew back to Thessaloniki, where he will take on APO Levadiakos with his former club and bid farewell before returning to Wolfsburg on Friday to join up with his new team mates.

Vierinha has been in action for his previous clubs both up front as well as in the midfield: “He is an attacking all-rounder with good dribbling abilities on the ball. He can play in the centre as well as on the wing. At PAOK, Vierinha proved convincing both as a goal creator as well as a goal getter. We hope his ability to aid us in getting more goals,” explained VfL head-coach and general manager Felix Magath.

Vierinha, who began his career in the youth teams of Vitória Guimaraes, was under contract at FC Porto from 2005 until 2009. During that period he spent loan spells in Portugal at FC Marco and Leixões SC before going to PAOK Thessalonikas, initially on loan before making the full time move in 2009. During the EURO 2012 qualifying campaign, he was named in Portugal’s national team for the first time, but is yet to make an international experience.
